The Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) is home to some of the world’s highest peaks, the world’s most in-depth ravine-the Kali Gandaki River Valley. It is the largest protected area in Nepal that covers 7629 square km. Established in 1992; the proposed conservation area encompasses the Annapurna range in Western Nepal.
