How to Reference Chemistry Papers.

However, writing reports on chemistry projects or studies contains data that have been collected and some analyzed, factual information on projects and scientific theories. This information’s generated is not solely on individual effort; therefore, the chemistry paper writer must list all sources of his information in the work cited or reference section or page. Chemistry referencing does not follow other academic papers and or the references are not a bibliography. The writer of a chemistry paper should not simply list the sources or books and articles he has sort information from, but every item listed in the work cited list must be cited somewhere in the paper (parenthetical citations). This implies that anytime while writing a fact extracted from another source the writer must accompany the source with a number which will be reflected in the reference page.
